Regular

Sanipull's
Direct Connect or Switch Saver attachment system are designed to address particular
needs within healthcare facilities
The
patent pending Sanipull Switch Saver system provides protection against damage
to both fixture and pull and should be considered as a retrofit solution if maintenance
staff are frustrated by spending too much time replacing broken fixtures.
If
a pull is yanked too hard or the orderly forgets to disconnect the pull from the
bed rail before moving the bed, Sanipull's sacrificial component will safely release
the pull from the fixture's ball chain (release force is slightly less than the
breaking force of a standard fixture ball chain). The switch is saved, keeping
the maintenance people happy and the pull remains undamaged and ready to be reattached
by any staff member to the light fixture's ball chain.
For
optimal switch protection, the Sanipull should be looped once around the bed rail
in an easy to reach location and clipped onto itself or simply clipped to the
linen.
No
assembly or special tools are required to install the Sanipull Switch Saver.
Installation takes less than a minute.
High
Use Areas or Use on Older Lights Requiring a Strong Tug to Activate:
Recommended
attachment method is the Direct Connect Sanipull.
The
Sanipull Direct Connect attachment method is recommended for areas with
high patient turnover and rooms with light fixture switches that require a strong
tug to activate. The Sanipull ribbon pull is attached directly to the ball chain
using a coupling link. The limited stretch of the Sanipull vinyl ribbon will grant
a small amount of shock protection to the fixture but its main function is to
provide a secure attachment to the fixture under all conditions.
For
optimal switch protection, the Sanipull should be looped around the bed rail in
an easy to reach location and clipped onto itself or clipped to the linen.
Please
Note: Direct Connects that are subject to an over force pull will direct
most of that energy into the light switch, which may result in unavoidable damage
to regular duty switches.
No
assembly or special tools are required to install the Sanipull Direct Connect.
Installation takes a few seconds.
